Managing invasive aquatic weeds with sterile grass carp

We are specialists in the breeding and application of sterile Chinese grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) for the control of aquatic weeds in dams and waterways. With 15 years of experience in the application of sterile grass carp, we are involved in numerous projects and estate developments. We consult clients on a wide range of practical application models and the development of dams into angling destinations for the eco-tourism market.

Each Grass Carp is micro – magnetically coded and each shipment of fish is accompanied by the necessary sterility certification and permits as required by the various Provincial Authorities.

De Rust is the leading authority on Grass Carp in Southern Africa.
Please feel free to contact De Rust for any further information.

We trust that you will be able to make use of our professional services.
